- The GPS survey of the castle ruins by the Schopfheim Town Museum was completed in February 2024. This survey means that a true-to-scale plan of the site is now available for the first time.
- The Förderkreis is planning to examine the finds from the Turmhölzle ruins, which are available at the Central Find Archive in Rastatt and the State Monuments Office in Freiburg. We hope that the pottery finds in particular will help to narrow down the period in which the castle was inhabited.
- The support group is preparing the foundation of a registered association with the same name. The founding meeting for the Förderkreis Ruine Turmhölzle e.V. will take place on 16 June 2024 at 16:00 in the Schopfheim City Museum. Anyone interested in becoming an active or passive member of the Förderkreis Ruine Turmhölzle e.V. is cordially invited to attend.
